Greetings in Christ!

I was born and raised in Whittier, California. I received my Bachelors Degree in Education and Music Minor from Concordia University in Seward, Nebraska. I do hold a California Clear Multiple Subject Credential as well as a California Clear Cross-cultural Language and Academic Development Certificate. After teaching for five years in the Bay Area, I received my Masters Degree in Education with a Curriculum Option at Cal State Hayward University.  I have been teaching over 30 years in the Lutheran Education System. I also have been a mentor teacher in the Pacific Southwest District and in the California State B.T.S.A. Program. Having served as a teacher in grades one, two, three, and now four, the experiences and joy that I have received from numerous students have been a true blessing to me. I am married to Deryl who serves as St. Paul's Assistant Principal (Athletics, Discipline, and Professional Development). We are blessed with two children. Joe attends college locally, and Liz teaches at Pilgrim Lutheran School in Houston, Texas.
