Greetings and welcome to Second Grade!
My name is Sue Guebert and I am the Second Grade teacher in 2C.
I am delighted to be in my 6th year of teaching at St. Paul's! I taught at another Lutheran school for many years, then substituted at St. Paul’s for 1 year, and was called to teach here. I graduated from California State University, Fullerton in 1990 with a degree in Liberal Studies and have a California Multiple Subjects Teaching Credential. I completed the Lutheran Teacher Colloquy from Concordia University, in 2011. I am blessed and thrilled to be sharing the amazing love of our Savior with dear second graders!
My husband, Tim and I have 3 children: twin sons Alex and Christian who are both music instructors, directors and composers. Alex is married to Heather, a forensic scientist and Christian is married to Megan, a Lutheran school band teacher. We have a lovely daughter Hannah, who is an administrative assistant at Chapman University. She recently married Eric, the assistant pastor at Christ Lutheran, Brea.
I love reading and movies and spending time with 7 and 8 year olds!
I look forward to a year rich with Bible verses, books, and blessings!
In God's Grace and Peace,
For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God. Eph. 2
